Sirocco Fan

1. Remove the filter and cover

2. Remove the screw in the center of the fan
After removing the parts around the fan, remove the fan as well. First, remove the cover around the fan with a screwdriver, and then remove the fan. Turn it counterclockwise to loosen the fan and allow it to be removed.
3. Pull out the fan

After removing the screws on the cover that secures the fan, it’s time to remove the fan. If you turn the pin in the middle, the screw will loosen, and you will be able to remove the tubular prober. It is slippery with oil, so be careful not to drop it when removing it.
3. Spray detergent
Move the removed filter and sirocco fan to the sink. I will spray the detergent evenly there. The trick is to use it generously and generously. Please put it in a container that can get dirty and pour hot water on it. I used an external device this time, but if possible, I recommend using a large one that will immerse the entire fan.
4. Clean the main body
Clean the body lightly while leaving the sirocco fan on. Wipe the inside of the duct where the fan was attached with a cloth soaked in detergent. It’s complicated, so you can’t drop it altogether. This time, I just wiped it lightly with a cloth soaked in detergent. Wipe the kitchen hood with detergent in the same way. Detergent for oil stains can remove stains and stains.
5. Flush the fan detergent and dirt

2. Remove the cover
Remove any cover or frame around the propeller.
3. Turn the knob to remove the blade
Fix the blade with one hand and turn the center knob with the other hand to remove it. The propeller-type fan is only fixed with screws, so you can twist it lightly to remove it.
What if the propeller does not come off?
If you do not clean it for a while, the shaft may harden, and you may not be able to remove it properly. In the case of the propeller type, it will be easier to remove it if you warm the center part with a dryer for about 3 minutes after unplugging it and then turn it.
If you can’t remove it with the sirocco fan type, you don’t have to remove it. Switch to wiping as much as possible, as it may add extra force and damage the cover itself. If you keep dust away, you won’t have to clean the inside.
